Doug Parker is the principal and founder of RPO Strategies.
He brings a unique perspective to his work that is built on 30 years of environmental insights, spanning both the public and private sector. His decades serving in, and leading, EPA’s criminal enforcement program provide him unparalleled insights which he applies to his clients’ needs. In practice this means helping organizations navigate compliance challenges, manage crises, and work to understand how today’s and tomorrow’s environmental landscape can impact them.

In his advisory practice, Doug routinely partners with leading law firms, technical experts, and policy professionals on behalf of clients to support their specific needs. He works with organizations across multiple industries, including the automotive, energy, chemical, finance, and manufacturing sectors as well as with public agencies. Additionally, he advises organizations on successfully integrating environmental factors into ESG strategies.
He speaks regularly to industry groups on strategies for managing environmental risk and has shared his insights on CNN and National Public Radio, as well as in The New York Times and numerous other media outlets.
Doug received his B.A. from Colby College and M.A. in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
